Production Head – Disposable Surgical Products Manufacturing
Role Purpose
To lead and control the entire production function of disposable surgical products, ensuring safe, efficient, compliant, and cost-effective manufacturing, while meeting quality standards, delivery commitments, and business growth objectives.
- Key Responsibilities
Production Management
Plan, organize, and control production of disposable surgical products
Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly production targets
Ensure optimal utilization of manpower, machines, and materials
Monitor and improve productivity and line efficiency - Process Control & Improvement
Implement standard operating procedures
Drive lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
Reduce rejection, rework, and process losses
Support automation and process optimization - Quality & Compliance
Ensure compliance with:
ISO
Cleanroom and sterility norms
Coordinate with QA/QC for:
In-process checks
Batch documentation
Maintain audit readiness at all times - Manpower & Training
Manage production supervisors, operators, and contract workforce
Ensure proper training on:
Hygiene & gowning procedures
Safety and compliance
Maintain discipline, productivity, and morale - Maintenance & Utilities Coordination
Coordinate with maintenance for:
Preventive and breakdown maintenance
Machine calibration and validation
Ensure availability of utilities: - Planning & Coordination
Coordinate with:
Planning & supply chain
Quality assurance
Stores & dispatch
Support new product introduction and scale-up
Ensure on-time order fulfillment - Safety & Housekeeping
Implement workplace safety practices
Maintain high standards of housekeeping and hygiene
